Seen some great films at our filmfestival last week.
The one which really stood out for me, was the British drama 'Broken'.
Truley recommended, a beautiful film with both harsh, saddening realism about a young girl's upbringing in the suburbs of London, and, most of all, a heartwarming story about friendship, love and family.
It was not a easy task holding back tears, I assure you.

It's quite impressing that this was the director, Rufus Norris, first film.
But what amazed me the most, was another debutant. The preformance of Eloise Laurence in the leading role as 11 year old girl Skunk, was just so natural and powerfull

. Hope she'll be in many films to come, she's definitely on my watchlist now.
If you'll get the chance, check it out. You have a Dahls guarantee you won't regret it. (for what that's worth
