You mentioned earlier that she's only 17. At that age people might be a tad unreliable, insecure even.
They might want one thing the one day, and something completely the next.
(Hormones I guess. )

If you think it's worth it, some people do grant second chances.
It's all up to you anyway, just remember what Ian said, and don't blame yourself for this.
