I do have to wonder sometimes, from these pics, if our dear Acquart is actually as happy as we would [presumably] wish her to be.
Looking like a suitable candidate for La Princesse du Tristesse may be one thing; having to actually be it may be quite another. It would be a shame, and probably quite destructive too, if she ended up as some kind of poster-girl for female angst.
I would guess that Notre Acquart has had quite a hard schooling in the realities of showbiz and PR, since her debut in NdP; I've speculated before about a flood of unwelcome offers after playing Marie, and I'm fairly sure that's not all of it. Some of her expressions in the pics are so questioning and hostile, you can practically hear her saying, "this is all such bullshit", or "I hate being so-called hot" - shades of Kristen Stewart...
What am I trying to say, here? I actually love her sorrow, did from the first - I think it's beautiful, and so real, and I think it's been with her for a long time, since childhood maybe. I just don't want it to typecast her, to become what the public sees as her defining characteristic. I'm so glad she's not mega-famous [and thus hassled to death by papparazzi etc] but I really think she deserves a wider audience, which involves all that.
I guess I'm just confused.
