Been trying to track down Pauline's short films and there does seem to be a common thread.
All, or nearly all, of them have been shown at the "Festival du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand" over the last few years.
One or two of them each year.

Haven't been able to take it any further yet but it crossed my mind that in some cases you can buy a compilation dvd of all the films shown.
Hmmmm. I wonder. 8)

Keep us informed, Fish, that would be great.

KS says, "If we don't get some news and Acquartpix soon, I'll...I'll go crazy!!"

I replied to an email today, not to France, but to an Ebay seller in the US who specialises in European films and has shown some interest in finding (some of) them.
They're a seller I've used a number of times in the past with good results, so here's hoping.
I'll keep you informed.

Well, they replied to my reply.
They didn't actually say they couldn't get them, so that's a plus.
They did say they'd send my email to "our purchasing department, so that they can research the availability of these titles further."
Not a great answer, but still hoping. :|

And yes, from Sans Faire de Bruit, an actual "named" pic of the lovely Pauline. *:)*

Yeah, yeah.

A bit too "standard response" to me, sort of like "We'll keep you on file". *:|*

See above! But I do want them to respond, to go, Hmmm, yes, what have we got with Acquart content?

Look, Pauline; I'm sorry, darling, but you're just not cut out to play Cousin Itt.

You're too tall! You haven't got the squeaky voice! You're too beautiful!

What about a sci-fi with la Binoche and Kristen? Would that cheer you up? Shall I write you one?

Well.
You know that old saying about "No News" being "Good News"?

In that case I only bear "Good News". :|

I hope Ian isn't right again. (What'd be the odds?) :P

Looking rather smug and contemptuous of my efforts aren't you Pauline? :( :P

Come, come, Fish lad; there's no need for all that. The girl can do what she likes, after all, including vanishing from the stage altogether [No-o-o!] and after seeing what extreme fame is like for KS, I'm really not sure we should be wishing it on her... :(

Just nipping back to Leicester today to check on Aunt Rose, and see my cousin who's over from Japan again [I missed him last time]. See yez in a day or two.

Hi Aunt Rose. :W

DMt. wrote:...extreme fame...

All I'd like is a little more popularity/publicity, enough to satisfy our needs of a pic or two every day, perhaps a weekly new vid, and a certain amount of information about her current projects.
Is that too much?
Mean to say. :P

Laurent posted another one, but it's just one of Bruno's from earlier in the year.
Strange angle/lens, but it's a nice one all the same.

Still no word on those DVD's yet.

Maybe if Pauline would be nice enough to give them a call. :Y

I don't know which I like more, the melancholy or happy Acquartpic...I think I see myself more in the melancholy ones, but I'm so glad for her when I see the happy ones...

Je ne sais pas ce qui me plaît plus, l'Acquartpic mélancolie ou heureux ... Je pense que je me vois plus dans ceux mélancoliques, mais je suis tellement contente pour elle quand je vois les heureux ... :T 8)
