I have the dvd but I suppose there are a number of YouTube vids you might be able to find.
Don't know what sub-titles they would have, but there are a number of Spanish speaking people who post things like that on YT.
Good luck.

I like the film a lot, it has it faults ( when it veers off into the storyline of Annie, Marie's friend it takes me out of the film. Nothing wrong with Louise Blachère performance but it derails the film for me) and it's oh-so-French coolness can be arty farty at times. But the performances of Pauline Acquart (how's she's not a massive star is beyond me) and Adele Haenel (she's somewhat overlooked sadly in this but she's really quite brilliant in this also check out The Devils, a earlier film which is far tougher then Water lilies with Haenel, she's a special talent) and some of the camera work is simple stunning especially near the end. It's a pretty dark and uncomfortable film at times ( Acquart's Marie, she could be seen as a little strange and scary by many) which shocks me that its got so much love and a massive loyal fanbase at that too. As I said already its the red headed step child to Fucking Amal's Golden child. It's Fucking Amal if things turned dark  .

A little side note (its probably already been said on here) that Water lilies director/writer Celine Sciamma is dating Adele Haenel in real life, so love must have blossomed on set. Sciamma did a far better film in my opinion with her follow up film Tomboy, which is worth checking out if you liked Water Lilies.

She has also been studying at Lyon University.

At the moment she's on set in Vienna playing one of the leads in the film Billionaire, which will also take her to Los Angeles in the new year.
She also has to fit in a season of the children's stage play Blanche Neige (Snow White) beginning in the next week or so.
Then in around April/May 2015 she starts preparations for another stage play Le Chemin de Damas. (The Road to Damascus) from the plays by August Strindberg.

So no, not a lot of high profile stuff, but hopefully the start of a good solid career in the industry.

This list at http://en.unifrance.org/directories/person/347956/pauline-acquart/filmography is very much out of date I'm afraid.

Thanks fish for given up some great info. She seems to have kept herself busy which is great, it seems like she more then likely doing the best she can do, making her money and paying the bills. At least she's getting a education as a back up if the acting doesn't work out. She probably won't be winning awards in France like her co star in Water Lilies Adele Haenel has been doing but she's keeping busy which is the main thing in acting.

Looking at that filmography she's done a few feature films and quite a few short films, have you or DMt seen them? any worth checking out?

These are my sentiments exactly, AM, and the reason for this whole thread. I have speculated that artmedia and Pauline embarked on a deliberately low-profile course after WL/NdP, as a kind of negative PR or presence-by-absence; because she was, after all, only 15, and extreme fame too young can be very corrosive...her career path since looks like a slow, steady build in all aspects of the craft of acting.

She's done live theatre, ads, TV, short films [most notably, perhaps, Au Septieme Jour..? I haven't seen any of the others, but she kills in that] and bit parts, as well as shared leads, in full features.

Now she's one of the leads in an international art-house movie, at last! *:)* *:)* *:)*

Adele is amazing too, of course, and I think it says a lot about Acquart that she could hold her own in Adele's company; but then, Celine S. wrote Marie as the central character, the observer we are all made to identify with, and she totally stepped up to the mark. As somebody wrote, "she carries the whole film on her thin shoulders".

ArcticMonkeys wrote:...and some of the camera work is simply stunning especially near the end.

Agreed again. Crystel Fournier is a DP to watch, I think. She gave the whole thing a sort of hyper-real look...much like Hoyte van Hoytema did for LTROI. Then did it again for Tomboy.

ArcticMonkeys wrote:It's a pretty dark and uncomfortable film at times ( Acquart's Marie, she could be seen as a little strange and scary by many)...

Yes, maybe, but I totally saw myself at age 15 in her Marie; I suspect many people did [and do]...and, furthermore, irrespective of gender! Which is part of the magic, and why WL/NdP belongs here, in a FA/SML forum. :Y

ArcticMonkeys wrote:...which shocks me that its got so much love and a massive loyal fanbase at that too.

I'm not quite sure how these things are measured, but I would have done this thread if only five people in the whole world had dug it. Acquart's quiet intensity completely blew me away. Still does. I love it that this thread is [comparatively] well viewed, it shows there's a lot of interest in her out there, despite - or even because of? - the years of virtual PR blackout.

Tomboy is indeed an excellent piece of work by any standard. But for me it's sadly lacking in any Acquart... *:|*

I began with Eloïse for to see other movies lesbians. I looking for women because they have tenderness . I not look the sex scenes, do not I like . I'm looking for tenderness.
I like very much "Water Lilies" (I've seen again) because is like FA. Very tender.

And I got an answer.
And it was a great answer.
And I bought the "Blanche Neige" dvd today. *:)*

Pretty expensive when the delivery to Australia is added on, around $70 Aus for a €20 dvd, but what the hell, it's only money and I've still got Ian's credit card details to fall back on. :P
From Axe Sud if you're interested.....http://www.axesud.eu/spip.php?article110&menu_on=2
Nice preview on the site even if you don't want to buy. Set it to HD.

Can't wait.
Is it here yet?
I better go and wait by the mail box. :T

Well, I was going to send my credit card details to Ian.
And I was going to send the dvd straight on to Dave.
And I was going to send a whole bunch of my dvd's to Santi.

But Dahls talked me out of it just in time. Image
So blame him. :P

Billionaire filming is almost done.
It seems there are only a few scenes left to shoot in LA, and they'll all be done early next year.

Here's another summary from Tiroler Tageszeitung Onlineausgabe.
(must renew my subscription)

"Road movie in the studio: Shooting begins on Edgar Honetschläger "Billionaire"

Rome (APA) - Today, Monday, start in Rome filming "Billionaire", the new film project of Austrian artist and filmmaker Edgar Honetschläger. The rich in unusual ideas of his design Linzers which at the Expo in Nagoya caused a stir with "chicken suits" in 2005, experiencing growth through "the first road movie in the history of film, which is shot in a studio."

"A very pretty Roman girl, a Japanese goddess and the devil meet each other in the Eternal City and drive a classic car from the 50s to Hollywood. The journey leads through a signed and painted America, "promises the synopsis of the 90-minute feature film. "For 3 1/2 years, male and I draw for the film," says Honetschläger, "America is great ..."

1,200 square meters and 700 square painting drawings, in which many citations great films of the past have been incorporated were so created. Excited about Rolling Strip Background machines, which are set by three cardinals in motion, pulling the scenery past the camera.

"Since 2001 I connect from my subscribed sets with actors, but in 2002, the desire to make a full-length feature film with this method was formed," said Honetschläger ("Aun", "Milk", "Omsch" etc.) to APA. "I have 12 years to, Billionaire fought ', because it hit nothing but incomprehension, and now at last I may realize it!"

Inter alia, with the support of ÖFI, Vienna Film Fund, ORF and the region of Upper Austria, the project was put on the legs with an international cast. Beginning and end of the film playing in the real Rome and in the real Los Angeles, in between is rotated in a Viennese studio of road trip through America.

Before starting, however, additional hassle was announced: The measure provided for the lead role of a young, working in a Renaissance palace museum attendant Italian film actress increasingly made absurd additional requirements and was in the last minute replaced after strenuous auditions by the 21-year-old Frenchwoman Pauline Acquart. "Billionaire" is slated for release in autumn 2015."

And a pic of "The mafia family, who made it all happen" from Billionaire's facbok page.
(The face in the Merc's rear window. )

Really looking forward to Billionaire. *:)*
