The woodsman is however, very fond of Blanche Neige.



But the Queen wants her heart.
And the woodsman must do as the Queen directs.

Why doesn't he just cut her head off?

Now what sort of story-tellers would the Brothers Grimm be then?


In the forest.
Blanche Neige has been given a potion.
She drifts into a sleep.



The woodsman kills a goat instead.
Then cuts out its heart to take to the Queen.



In the dvd's extras there a little clip showing the audience reaction to this scene.
"Eeeeewwwwwww."
Predictable.
They're mainly little kids after all.

In their original, un-Bowdlerised forms, some of these tales are dark and bloody indeed...

She seems content to help them while they are happy to let her stay.
