i am getting braces in 6 weeks, im just curious to see who has braces, or who used to have them etc. and i want to know people's opinions on braces too, are they a good or bad thing? im not quite sure what to think about them.. i just dont fucking want them!

Well, as you know, I've avoided mine. There are good reasons for having them, obviously. Otherwise they wouldn't exist! They're there to give you a great smile for later on, and there's nothing wrong with that whatsoever.

It may effect your confidence, but It definitely won't stop you slobbering over people, ie Bre. :lol:

I started to wear them when I was fourteen or fifteen, don't know exactly anymore, and it took me two years and two different kind of braces to obtain myself nice teeth.

well it worked out, but they were pretty stupid. but in holland, I guess about 50% of the 13/14yearolds have 'm, so it's no big deal.

don't worry *blond* ! i have braces now for about 7 years, that is hard! maybe the reason is that i was too lazy wearing them... now i only have to wear them by night that's ok... my mother also had some when she was 30 years old i think and she used to tell me stories that she sometimes nearly died cause she was eating some food one should rather not eat with braces... (asparagus for example...) i dont know what kind of yours look like but i think youre gonna have a good time :lol:

remember not to kiss someone who has braces too, that might cause an accident

ohh ok, this is cool.
i know my cousin had braces for 7 years. poor girl, they kept putting them on, and taking them off again. bet it cost her family a fortune.
has anyone kissed with bracfes on, or kissed anyone with braces? is it a bit weird?

I had braces when i was 13 they're no big deal!i actually liked them!

But anyway kissing with braces is no difference then kissing without them! :wink:
