Pretty reasonable adaptation of the tragic demise of Jeanne d'Arc.

I joined "My French Film Festival" a year or so ago, without much use until now.
This year's festival opened last night and "La Bande à Juliette" was on the menu.
And, short films are for free.

I think it's a "members only" site so you'll need to join if you haven't already.

Took ages to load "La Bande...." and I couldn't find a way to download it.
There are sub-titles in a choice of languages if you need them.

I'm watching it again now, and it's loading much quicker this time.
Still can't download it though.

Still haven't been able to download "La Bande à Juliette", but thoroughly enjoying the story and the performances.
What a bitchy bunch Juliette's friends tuned out to be.

Can't believe Maglone told her friends that she gave Ju her first "French Kiss".

My copy is from a Festival judge who unloaded it on Ebay, can't remember what it cost.
Enjoyable drama but not enough of our Pauline if you ask me.

That's why I hesitate to buy it, for now.

Such a heartbreaking film.
I hope such cruel institutions and heartless attitudes no longer exist in the world, but maybe I'm just a dreamer.
The film was very well done however, and Nina was excellent.


I think JuJu enjoyed seeing Maglone punch Vincent in the face.
