Deleted scenes???

Hello everyone!
New fan here... I rented this movie on August 2nd and watch it again almost every day since; I don't even know why I love this movie so much. No the story is nothing new or original but it's presented in such a way that I can't help but love it.

Anyway, to my question: As I spent the past few days browsing the web for sites like this one, I notice a lot of pictures that do not seem to be from the movie, or at least not the version that I saw. Are there some DVDs out there with deleted scenes or other similar extras? The DVD that I got (distributed by Strand Releasing) only have the trailer, some other movie trailers, as bonus. So I was wondering where the photos I see on the net from?

Welcome Poko! I'm afraid it's pretty clear that there exist no deleted scenes of Fucking Åmål anywhere even though the rumour that there are pops up ever and ever again. This is just wishful thinking, I'm afraid . The pictures you refer to are almost certainly promotional pictures (I imagine that you have one in mind, for example, that shows the girls sitting in front of a green lawn, laughing, Elin leaning her forehead against Agnes's head.).

there kinda are deleted scenes ;-)

in the german version are two scene missing
(agnes in bed waiting for the call the then turning of the light)
and
johan waiting for elin on the parkground

Kant that's what I initially thought considering that the same picture is used in the cover of the DVD, but than I saw other pictures like these below:









And I started thinking that may be there are some scenes that didn't make the final cut or that can be found on the original swedish DVD but not on the american/foreign one.
