Out of the four dvd's I think the best of both series is in that one. The build up and the climax at the end of series one is just magnificent.^O^

Have you got around to seeing Kamakaze Girls yet? I can just picture you as a red headed Komoko.

Am I stupid or something. It's Momoko not Komoko.

If you say it really really fast, like 8quid 8qid 8qd, etc, it doesn't seem nearly as expensive.

Actually checking it out 8quid isn't bad. I'm going to Melton Mowbray this afternoon. If I find it there I'll buy it (bearing in mind most people in Melton are descended from ponies and their idea of entertainment technology is the magic lantern show :Z ) I'll bring you back a pork pie and some Stilton :W

Had to cut short Melton cos of sudden downpour but did get the pie and cheese and a bottle of port to go with it. :) Will get DVD tomorrow or Friday. :Y

No kidding, the girls in Melton have ponytails, huge hooters, big teeth like Sherdil, chew on straw, and laff like donkeys braying like him >>>> . Their personal hygene is lamentable, you could grow spuds under their fingernails. :r Just don't get near enough for one to kick you with her hoof. :N . They do make good stable girls though and with the right guidance can scrub up well

I'll give you a guided tour of the fleshpots of Melton. It will take about ten minutes. The most dangerous thing that can happen there is you get pranged by some old dears zimmer frame. :Z

Saw the Dead Like Me telemovie Life After Death last night.

Oh dear.

Wish I could be positive, but I was very disappointed with this. On the plus side, the returning cast do a good job of slipping back into their characters. Alas, two of them are gone. Mandy Patinkin's absence leaves a huge hole, and oh God, the recast Daisy was AWFUL. Recasts invariably suck, but be it the writing or the acting of the new actress, this Daisy didn't even bear the slightest resemblance to the character we had come to know in the series. And yeah, sad to say, the writing really wasn't up to much, with several character and plot illogicalities that just didn't make sense with what we know from the series.

Very poor, and very disappointing. Methinks they should have let the dead lie in peace.
