It probably won't make anybody toe-wiggly happy, but I just noticed that Hulu has both seasons of Dead Like Me up, as well as Buffy through season 3 or so. They also had Angel last time I looked (which was a while ago, but since they updated Buffy they probably have more than S1 of that now too.

Quality TV content if you can take advantage of it.

Saw "Quills", made in 2000, on Fox last night. What an amazing film. Geoffrey Rush is brilliant as the Marquis de Sade. Kate Winslet, Joaquin Phoenix, Michael Caine, Amelia Warner, in fact the whole cast, just brilliant.
Takes place in an insane asylum in early 19th century France so I felt strangely "at home". Not for the kids but I can't recommend it highly enough.

Doctor Who - The Silurians. Great. Well paced, starting slow but building the tension up bit by bit, which makes the seven episodes just fly by. The regulars are on great form (only his second story, but Jon Pertwee is utterly the Doctor already) as are the terrific guest cast (Paul Darrow! Peter Miles! Fulton MacKay! GEOFFREY PALMER!). Gritty, gripping stuff.

A cracking good story.

X Files: Paper Hearts. Very strong episode with Tom Noonan as a child killer who claims to have been responsible for the disappearance of Mulder's little sister. Dark stuff.

Six months
I've slowed down a bit too. I've only watched it once so far this week. But then it is only Tuesday.

I takes a lot of practice and some serious dedication to get this wierd, but I'm sure with a little extra effort you can make the grade.

Watched The Gymnast. Nice lightweight story but fairly predictable. Retired gymnast and a dancer train to put together a show in the hopes of getting a gig in Las Vegas.
The rehearsals were amazing but the actual performance was seriously hot.

bought the Wallander BBC (2008) series on DVD, from the books by Henning Mankell, filmed in southern Sweden. Watched the first one very impressive filming, plot was a bit slow getting off the ground. Its won loads of awards, and Kenneth Branagh is yummy :)P Would like to know how it compares with the Swedish version. Anyone know if its available on DVD with English subtitles?

Rewatched Doctor Who - Planet of the Dead last night. Liked it a bit better second time. Still brain-dead, but reasonably entertaining. 'Brain-dead' was about all I could cope with last night, I think!
