Don't know how they can afford to live up there though.

Born and raised in Australia I have no experience of this "White Christmas" of which you speak.
Although I did spend a very cold Christmas in Tasmania some years ago when snow fell up in the high country.

Sometimes you just need to dress to keep warm I guess.
