I wish.

No, I just can't find any new pics or think of anything to say... *:|*

Damn.
I was hoping you'd bought a spare. :(

And, I don't think we'll see any new "new" pics for another week or so.
I'm having no luck with new "old" pics either at the moment. :(

And, you should take the example of all our politicians who are in election mode right now.
Having "nothing to say" isn't stopping any of them from saying plenty. :r

And, an ever so slightly reconfigured pic.

A grim-looking Acquart who has apparently [to judge by the dark eyes] been neglecting her beauty sleep... :(

Beautiful as always, mind you.

I had a strong impression that both la B and colleague were playing baddies in that short - maybe it was all that black leather, I dunno...still can't see it anywhere.

Damn that hermetic French media!

34.020 already.

And why would there be anything bad about women in black leather? *:)* *:)* :P

I spent a while today checking out the cast, the director and all the technical crowd from "Casting" and still can't find more than that one tiny little clip.
Not even a mention on any showreels or anything.
Most discouraging. :(

I know I keep saying this, but maybe it really is time to call a break... *:|*

Be sure to make it a short break if so.

Never know when the big news comes along, and in the meanwhile I'm happy to settle for reconfigured or old pics.

As if we wouldn't post something new like a shot - if only there was anything! *:|*

For my money we've done quite enough rehashing/reposting; it dilutes the whole thing for me, cheapens it.

I don't know how many other clients PAB's agent has, but a quick look at any Google image search on 'Pauline Acquart' shows an unhealthy preponderance of NdP/Water Lilies pics, and very little in the way of more recent stuff. This needs addressing, surely...

Last thing I want to do.
Maybe if a few of our readers would care to sign up and give us their opinions we could reach a more informed decision.

In the meantime.

Seems to me to be an absolute inevitability unless she makes other things that, er, actually get released beyond France. *:|*

If even Fishy struggles to find a FascBook pic or a blurred promo shot, we definitely have a problem, Houston.

That last one is quite sweet, though...there have been quite a few barefoot Bourkas in recent-ish pix.

Hmm, well, I don't quite agree that posting old pics with reacurring conversations cheapens it to much degree. We just deal with what we got.

The whole forum is based on a 15 year old film and anything related, in which we very rearly see new stuff, but it's still a fun and interesting place to hang around, even if most pics have been seen ages ago.

The fact that a google seach mainly shows pics from NdP isn't that strange either really, since it's by far her most known film, at least abroad from France.
It's the same if you search for one of the two other girls who's on the forum discussions, you will find almost only FÅ pics.

But I do understand your frustration of course.
Hang in there, I'm sure Pauline's got a bright future in the film buisness, such talent surely can't go to waste.

Uh-huh...the sensible, pragmatic view...

I don't mean to be snide about it - I'm sure Fish knows how much we [and all our phantom lurkers] appreciate his efforts; I'm proud of the thread as a Bourka tribute, and its only competition is the tumblr stuff, which you now must sign in to see more than a short sample of [so they can stick that] - but I do think that many reposts, including my own, dilutes the thing. Reworkings, well, that's kind of a grey area... :?

OK, 'cheapens' was perhaps a bit strong

No indeed, Gurgle presumably just shows what's out there; what I find strange is that artmedia seem rather laisser-faire in the matter of recent pix/news/major film roles...I also get a bit creeped, sometimes, by the overall impression the Net gives that la B is still a 15-year-old gamine.

Yes; and I've observed before that the French media industry is quite large enough, and self-contained [perhaps even Chauvinistic? ] enough, that an actor can have a perfectly viable career just within it, and I gather many do. Given the way Hollywood behaves, I truly couldn't blame PAB for choosing to stay the hell out of it, and just work in France/Europe.

However, like you I suspect that she is a world-class talent - that's why I started this thread - and should be treated as such.

So far only Samuel Doux' Au Septieme Jour has done this, from what little I've seen; and I reckon it paid off big time doing so, artistically if not financially - a pity they didn't think [or weren't budgeted?] to subtitle it.
