I live in constant dread.

It was hard work, I can tell you, and left me wondering and quite shaken. Would have made a great [if very dark] film, but dreaming it was another matter...! Muggers, gangs, cripples [I was one, struggling to walk, using a stick], drunks & junkies, psychopathic criminals, foul weather, crumbling graffiti-daubed infrastructure, dodgy girls - a lowlife extravaganza set about 10 years in the future, in a place nobody in their right mind would want to be.

Strangely enough he gets absolutely zero sympathy from me.

I can recommend a female lead when you get around to casting the film.

(Luckily I was able to get a copy from a film festival judge several months ago. Exit smug mode.)
