"Girl, Interrupted" is a good film indeed. I watched "27 Dresses" (Katherine Heigl) on TV tonight, a pretty enjoyable film - but not a film I will buy I think. I've had a Disney AND musical period lately, so I've watched High School Musical 3 a few times ;). I also got "Once" on BD last week which had a very natural documentary feel to it so even if you don't like musicals usually you should check out that (especially if you like singer/ songwriter style music). Needless to say, I've also seen "Mamma Mia" a few times. It has its flaws, but there's a charm in that too.

When it comes to TV-series I follow E.R., L Word, Ugly Betty and Heroes. Finished the entire Seinfeld series on DVD earlier this year (the best comedy series along with King of Queens IMHO).

Looking forward to see Mammoth of course along with Fast and the Furious and Terminator 4 later this spring.

On Sliders season 1 at the mo'. Easy to forget what a great little fun show it was when it started, before they managed to completely screw it up!

Also on X Files season 1. 'Tooms' last night. Doug Hutchinson is still so frickin' CREEPY!

Just a few episodes after Veronica Mars had an episode featuring both Alyson Hannigan and Charisma Carpenter from Buffy, they do an episode which features both Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat from Arrested Development. I strongly suspect the producers are now just extracting the urine.

Watched Nina's Heavenly Delights.
Not bad in a gay, Glaswegian, Bollywood, cooking show, kind of way, but it lacked a little in the actual development of the characters. A bit hard to understand why some of them were doing what they did without this background, but overall a nice enough entertaining movie.
I'd give it about a 3 out of 5.

In fact FÅ is more or less an exception to me

I don't normally watch a lot of teen movies or romantic movies actually

So I think I'll skip this Thirteen movie

I'm going to have to add The Little Vampire to my list of all-time favourites. I don't care that it's a 24 year old kids show, I unashamedly love it. And am genuinely gutted that there's only 2 episodes left.

Just had a chance to see my new copy of Fucking Åmål, bought as a backup in case the Martians stole my first, but really bought to see if I could find a better set of sub-titles.

I got it through Nordicdvd so I was expecting at least different subs, if not better, and I was not dissapointed. The movie was always great of course but many of the silly subs in my original were now much more believable. Reasonably quick postage too, Norway to Australia in around 8 days. Haven't a clue on cost yet with fluctuating exchange rates between the Oz dollar and the Norw Kroner. Seems to fit better on a large screen TV as well with not so much adjustment to fit the subs on screen.

This might sound a bit like a promo for oeb but I was pleased with the service.

Now, when can we see Mammoth and Manana on his site?
