As I believe I have shown many times, my standards are in the gutter. Which shows you how bad those eps were.

Been rewatching a couple of the most recent season, mainly the ones I didn't like. Must admit, I may have been too harsh on The Beast Below and the Van Gogh one. They're alright, actually (and I really like Matt Smith's Doctor). The Dalek one, though...ghastly - wouldn't have been out of place in a Tennant season!

OUCH.

Speaking of DT.
Young Will Shakespeare was dealing with some witches from space today. A bit too slapstick for me, but Martha's in it now and she's nice.

Another episode comes on in a few minutes but they're all out of sequence so unless you check on the EPG you have no idea what's coming up. Just going to check the EPG now. Catchya later. :W

That's my one claim to cinematic fame! :) I was on set during location filming of the episode at Forde's Hospital in the old town part of Coventry. August Bank holiday Sunday as I recall, like years ago. That is a slight exageration, I wasn't allowed anywhere near the set. We have a good position at first but they just kept moving us further and further back. There were about 40 of us spectators who got the tip-off about the shooting gig. Some photos of the onlookers feature on one of the CD's but not me apparently *:)* Obviously they thought I was too photogenic *:|* and would distract attention from the actors :Y Actually considering it was August it was bloody freezing, and bloody boring too. Just loads of men in tights, but you can see that any day of the week in Coventry :D The only interesting bit was the ''set dressing'' covering up double yellow lines with rubber mats and leaves and concrete bollards with barrels over them. Apparently Tennant sometimes comes out to chat to the location crowd but of course, it would be the one day he didn't. When I watched the episode I was disappointed at how much added cgi distorted the scene, (near the beginning) so you could hardly tell it was the same location.

All in all, a huge bloody waste of time.

 Snaps!

That one's not a bad one, by that era's standards anyway. That was probably his best season (the one with Martha) IMHO.

Now you know why.

Obviously the entire crew were inspired by the presence of a strange and mystical red-headed figure casting her spell over procedings.

Well, who wouldn't be so inspired? :P

Miss Marple - The Body in the Library (Joan Hickson). Sheer class. (Watching it is also rather like a 70s/80s Doctor Who guest cast reunion. "Ooh look, it's the policeman from Black Orchid! Ooh, it's the Black Guardian! Ooh, it's the obsequious secretary from Revelation of the Daleks! Ooh look, it's Professor Marius from The Invisible Enemy!")

Christ, I'm a geek. :T

Show Me Love----never get tired of it! Only got as far as the scene with Elin and Jessica in Agnes' bedroom, when fatherly duties called me.

Know exactly how you feel.
I'm suffering withdrawal at the moment, haven't watched it all week.

1988 Home and Away. The spoof 'flashback' with Phil throwing a clearly made-out-of-straw Gary off the cliff was hilarious!

ANNOUNCER: "Is Ingrid really going to destroy the Tates and the Campbells? Or is this just some form of Swedish greeting?"

Doctor Who - The Time of Angels 2 parter. Have to say, didn't like it as much second time. The first half is excellent - good, proper, scary old-fashioned Who; even more than the first viewing, though, the decision to have the "crack" arc suddenly intrude and completely swamp the plot in part 2 is a real kick in the face, and seriously undermines the story on it's own.

Bad move, I'm afraid. :(
