Yes he is :D song is - I don´t belive in miracles - it´s apparently of some Russian movie. This song is very beautiful and I think that this song to fit. It will be very frantic and emotional  I very like Alexander Rybak. He is very natural, and his music is on the edge of pop and folk. :) and I like how through his person promotes eastern culture :)

I went to the library to pick up a book today and ended up carting home half a dozen!

Well, it's been a while. I kind of lost the habit four or five years back, I think it was partly down to an inability to concentrate due to stress and worry over the whole dole farrago. I suppose it's a positive sign that I'm happy doing what I'm doing that I've suddenly started again! :D

There's loads of 'em - I've seen HP done Angel-style, Buffy done Friends-style, Who done Buffy-style etc etc. Some of them are absolutely brilliant.

I've done one myself - Neighbours 90/91 with Friends-style credits. Fairly primitive mine, mind, compared to a lot of 'em! Even if I had the right softweare, I suspect I wouldn't even know where to start doing something like that HP/Smallville one!

Skins series 4 and the Skins novel arrived today. Started on the novel, it's quite good so far actually. Set between series 3 and 4, so Emily & Naomi are all seriously loved up in it. :)P *:)* :D

It's written well with all the characters - you can hear the actors saying the lines, which is always a good test.

Katie's characterisation is interesting too, in light of how horrible she is in series 3 and how you finally start to like her in 4. The show hinted at it a few times in 3, but the book confirms just how much insecurity and even self-loathing she's covering with her promiscuous bitch persona. Interesting how jealous she is of Emily & Naomi too, both out of fear of losing her sister and deep down feeling she'll never get anyone who feels about her the way Naomi feels about Emily.

SBS re-ran an episode last Sunday night (I think) where Emily finaly comes out to her parents and then later at the ball after she fights with Katie.
For a show I didn't much like at first I thought that episode was very good.
Don't think I'll bother with Cook and Effie next week though.

But I'll keep the recording of last Sunday's. :)P

Definitely one of the best, that one. :D

And apparently Emily (or was it Katie, I can't remember!) did in fact accidentally punch the actor playing the teacher for real and he fell over!

I always thought acting was a dangerous business. No wonder Bex wanted out.

Having used up all the Hermione/Luna fics I can read (for now), I've started reading Harry/Hermione ones instead lol. I always did like them as a potential couple, especially in the films, mainly because it was obvious to a blind man that Emma had tons of chemistry with Daniel Radcliffe and sod all with Rupert Grint. :P  :r

Several of them are really terribly sweet. :D
