Just checking events. 9.15am in Amal. Looks gloomy as ever, low cloud, raining, no flags, no-one around much. :(

09:30 in Åmål.
Clouds but no rain.
Cars but no people.
Flågpoles but no flågs. *:|*

Low, dark, sad clouds but no rain. A depressive morning but there's life in Åmal: a lot of cars, and some people passing by.

I wondered during my trips if I could travel to Scandinavian countries in the bad season, now I know I don't want to.

Well if nothing else, their webcam has put me off visiting Sweden, for life. :Y

Monday 02:15.
It hasn't got any more appealing.
No people, no cars, no flags, just the rain and the dark.

Snow would be better than the rain though. At least it would lighten the gloom a bit.

Does it snow in Åmål? Probably a stupid question but we have to drive around 1000kms if we ever want to see snow.

I'm getting a bit nostalgic of my (summer) northern trips, instead.

I think the Sweden Tourism Board should be notified of the damage webcams of Amal may be doing to their industry.

Bored out of my tiny little brain.

What's happening in Åmål to cheer me up?

Someone has left their bike leaning on a flagpole. Might as well use it for something, still no flags.
That red car insn't moving.
Hang on, the webcam's frozen at midday.... :?

All of a sudden it's 12:04 and the bike's gone.

I'm getting in touch with the Sweden Tourism Board. They need to know about this. *:|*

The Sweden Tourism Board has been on the job, webcam's working again.
There's a short blonde girl chatting with a small group of people next to the right hand flagpole.
Hard to tell who it is.
Might be Alex :?: *:)*

It looks that way to me too, although it is 03:30 on a pitch black night, so it's a little hard to tell.

Still windy, no rain, sinister looking mini-bus parked on the bridge, better call the bomb squad.

Somewhere, I didn't save the URL, there is a site with a webcam showing the other side of the bridge. *:)* It's not the place for me though, no dolphins. :| *:|*
