Hey, that w*rks even better.
Hold it up to the window and you can see people moving around.

Now there's something you rarely see in Fucking Åmål.

To be fair, I doubt you'd see much activity in F*****g Adelaide if the temperature was around -10.

00:30 Hrs CET. Webcam back up. No fresh snow but it's still down there pretty thick. I'd reckon about 40 - 50 cm in all. And to think you wondered why they drained the fishpond! I looks cold enough to freeze the balls of a brass salmon.

I'm perfectly willing to concede that point.
I'm just wondering why that should restrict my eagerness to give them a razz. :? :P

You must have a better web-cam view than me Snapsie. I can't even see that part of their anatomy.

I wish there was a webcam pointed at that other place.

3 pm CET and it's already getting dark. Jennifer should be exiled there for life.

I have this image of her/him/it being hoist to half mast between two of the flagpoles. *:)*

09:45 Thursday in Åmål and I'm starting to get sick of all this snow and the lack of sunshine.
I now have a new found appreciation for what all of you in the cold north of the planet must be going through.

Never mind, we're past the hump, your days are starting to get longer.
In the meantime if you can find someone nice to snuggle up to maybe you can keep a bit warmer.Image

Xmas lights were removed, but no other visible change: snow, cold and darkness.
River still flowing (I wonder if sometimes it freezes)...

FINALLY some recognition from the rest of the world. I mean, there is a reason why we're a bunch of miserable suicidals who find comfort in tragic films and alcohol.

I know I was having a good chuckle at my friends snowed under in the UK recently...

... while we were sweating it out at 42C.

Hmm. :?:

09:00 Saturday.

Pity about the lights being taken away, they kind of gave the impression that it wasn't really all that dark. *:|*

And speaking of "miserable suicidals", I had a glance here at around 05:00 this morning and saw one lone poor sod crossing the bridge. He paused to look at the water and I swear I heard his mind ticking over...."shall I jump?".... Needless to say, he didn't, probably too drunk to climb the fence.

Wow, that would be something, getting filmed while killing yourself... Glad he didn't though, I mean he would probably reduce Åmål's population by a few per cent, had he done it. And they wouldn't like that, now

But he might have raised the average IQ.

Glad he didn't though, that's not something I wish to see. :(
