Very pleased that I have managed to rig my DVD player up to my DVD recorder, but because there's several AV sockets (and channels) I don't have to disconnect the video/TV signal or mess around anymore, it's just a simple matter of pressing a button to tape from DVD or telly. Already copied 3 discs this weekend. I think I'll stick to this method - trying to "clone" them on computer was a joke. Two of them burned wrong - all weird and slow - I couldn't get any software to even read one of them, despite it playing fine on the player.

I'll stick with the old fashioned way!

A random google search (God, I'm getting as bad as fishy :lol:

) for Amelia resulted in this, something else I never knew existed - an appearance by her and her onscreen boyfriend on Channel 10 kids show "Double Dare" in July/August 1990. Great photo, and I find it rather comforting to know there's still stuff of her out there I didn't know about and haven't seen. The Quest Continues!

When I compiled my first "mix dvd" around the start of 2008, I figured I'd do about 2 at the most - some MVs and a place to put some archival Alex, Rebecka and Amelia footage and that.

Yesterday I burned the 20th, and have already started on 21. Love them! *:)*

Rang up my ISP to see if I could find out what's wrong with my internet connection, (apart from the dead mouse in the power wheel, I mean.)

Of course they're based in Adelaide so you have to speak to someone in the Phillipines for service, but I want you to try to spot the flaw in this statement, (bearing in mind that I refuse to have a mobile phone).

"Ok sir, I want you to unplug your phone from the line so we can run some tests here and find out what the problem is.
I'll tell you when you can plug it back in again."
