But seriously I'm glad youre not into cricket. Sadly, sport has totally ruined the art of cricket. The whole point of English village cricket (which I love) is NOT to watch it. You take a hamper, have a picnic, drink lotz, get a gentle suntan, read books, gossip lotz and make stoopid jokes about NO BALL  silly mid-off and all that daft terminology. It also must be the only game where you applaud someone for LOSING, i.e. bowled out, instead of shouting ''L-O-S-E-R" and ''What a load of rubbish''.

The value of being forgetful and thick skinned is that by the time I realise everyone's been insulting me I've forgotten what the hell it was all about. :T

AND, by the way.....
in about 15 mins time there's another Who repeat on UKTV.

The other one is better. The one that just says:

"The Angels have the Phone Box".

So oblique it could only be recognised by a fellow geek.

Bugger.

I confess that I appear to have made a minor mis-interpretation of the facts of the matter.

Blink is on tomorrow at 4, not right now. :x

Yes  I sent him a firm but polite email  and he has sent me an apologetic reply. O-)

He's downgraded it from being one of the Locals's own blogs to just being a Reader blog, but I should get an avi on it in the next couple of days. It will appear then higher in the rankings of the blogs, and occasionally appear as a link on the front page of the Local.

The things one has to do for recognition
