You're saying "strange" like it's a bad thing.
I mean, Salander was "strange". :T :)P

Might try to track down a few clips of this one. I'm intrigued. 8)

I couldn't find out anything about ''Jak se naučit Švédsky'', or even the English "How to learn Swedish", but it sounds like good fun.
I'll have to find time to do a little more research. O-)

here some links on YT ( but you will not understand  ) because now I'm in the process of translation of ''The Dolls'' I will not have any time in the near future. In addition, there are so many specific language things - Czech - Swedish...language's mischief that translate it to English even I do not have much courage.

It has only 30 min. but as I write up, you'll have of it just moving-pics

Must be very difficult translating a comedy while trying to keep the humour.
I don't envy anyone that gig. :T

When I see grumpy young parents with unhappy kids [it happens sometimes] I have to stop myself going up to them and lecturing about how quickly this precious time is gone etc etc...

The Bill: Trojan Horse. Poor old PC Melvin exits the series in a pretty permanent sort of way when a stolen car he brings back to the station turns out to contain a terrorist bomb. Bloody hell. After being on an enforced break for the last 5 weeks due to running out of episodes until I could get my hands on the latest dvd releases, this was a terrific, hugely dramatic episode to come back to the series with. :D

Sounds pretty permanent to me.

It's surf binge time in Oz. *:)*
The 2012 Rip-Curl Pro from Bells Beach, Victoria, live on TV for about 6 hours each day.

Even when my knees used to allow me to surf, I could only dream of doing the stuff they're doing.

The men's final today was an absolute classic, probably the best ever.
11 times World champion Kelly Slater managed a 10 on one of his waves and still didn't win.
Congratulation Mick.

About the best trophy in all of sport.

Hope conditions stay good for the women's finals tomorrow. *:)*

As a final comment I'd better mention the Women's final.
Conditions were still very good when last years winner Sally Fitzgibbons edged out four times world champion Stephanie Gilmore in a close match up.
Congratulations Sally.
Now ring that bell. *:)*

DS9: In the Pale Moonlight. One of the darkest and best episodes of the series, as Sisko's desperation to bring the Romulans into the war against the Dominion (which the Federation are losing) leads him to make more and moral compromises in order to do so - ultimately leading him to become an accomplice after the fact to two murders. Gripping stuff. Andrew Robinson is on ripping form as the ruthless, conniving Garak too. "If it soothes your troubled conscience, rest assured that you may have just saved the entire Alpha Quadrant, and all it took was the death of one Romulan Senator, one criminal, and the self-respect of one Starfleet officer. I don't know about you, but I'd call that a bargain."
