2012 - 11 – 16 : Yohio ready for Melodifestivalen:

Well, its been confirmed today :D YOHIO is definitely in the running to be the Swedish entry för Eurovision Song Contest! *:)* {Norway, nul points :) ] I hope everyone here be supportive

Article from EXPRESSEN NEWS (English translation here). Original article: Therese Färsjö, Photo: Roger Vikström. Original source : http://www.expressen.se/noje/yohio-klar ... estivalen/

Yohio is one of the artists in this years Melodifestival. From big in Japan - to Melodifestivalen. According to Expressen Yohio is ready for the competition. 17-year Yohio from Sundsvall is a superstar in Japan, and was namely a major talking point when he starred in "Skavlan". Dressed like a girl, he has taken fans in Japan by storm in the genre visual kei. Now Expressen can tell you that he is ready for the Eurovision Song Contest.

- He is quite ready for the competition. He will definitely stand out on the starting grid.

Vrethammar is also clear.

Yohio usually sings in Japanese, but it is unclear whether he will do so or not in the Eurovision Song Contest. Yohio’s label Ninetone Records confirm that a song has been submitted.

- We sent the song to him, and several of our artists. But I do not know if it's done yet. I have not heard anything, says Sandra Reuterving, press officer.

Even Sylvia Vrethammar should now be completely ready for participation. It will be her fifth time in the contest.

Hoffsten is likely to.

All contributions will be ready next week. Louise Hoffsten has weeks in which to write a song, and will most likely do so.

- Everyone knows that she can write, so only she can submit a title and a theme so she has a place, says a source.

Congratulations are in order then ^O^ , not bad at all. He's got nothing but full support and respect from me, I assure you.
The fact that I despise this competition, does'nt stand in the way of my admiration of YOHIO, and his very impressing accomplishments.
Allthough it's not what I usually listen to, I, of course, can't help but enjoy the talent of a very brave and skillfull young man.

Think I may even watch it this year. :)

If you haven'th seen his interview on Skavlan btw, it's available on both nrk and svtv webpage, but probably without subtitle :|
He did a good impression, on what is the most watched talkshow in Norway/Sweden

Stumbling on a treasure trove of pre-2011 Emma photos, all in the one place. There must be THOUSANDS of them, I'll never be able to use them all in MVS if I make a hundred! :D

*:)* YOHIO has made it through to the 32 finalists for Melodifestivalen, with .... ''Heartbreak Hotel. *:|* Yes, I had my moment of doubt, not that it isn't a good song anyway but it is a completely new song. YOHIO = ELVIS? Written by a strong-writing team including YOHIO. I love the cheeky side-swipe at pop history. no one else in the competition would have the cojonnes to title their song 'Heartbreak Hotel' :D Make way for the new King (or should that be Princess?) He is also poking fun at ESC. I hope the gamble pays off.

His first run-off is on 2nd February.

Ima not going to be around much on here posting for a coupla months. No disrespect. I am involved in heavy-duty promo work for YOHIO. :D

Don't stay away for long or I'll send the horse girls after you.

Then again, she'd probably like that. :(

Got home a few hours ago, from a very intriguing experience!
I've almost never been to a live theater before, but tonight I was privileged enough to sit down and enjoy a wonderful production of Let the right one in *:)* (and I didn't even have to go alone :) )

They were nothing short of spectacular, surpriseingly good and intense.
And it's not like it was the national theater eighter, rather a minor regional one.

Both lead actresses were equally brilliant (yes, Oscar was played by a girl/young lady, but that worked out very well), and had lovely chemistry, just like in the film.

The people behind the stage needs a mention too. Light effects, sound effects, all the props and so on, were amazing, they must have put alot of work behind this. Did'nt hold back on the amount of fake blood eighter :P .

Feel like I'm running out of superlatives now :T , but it was all really that good!

Sooo thankful I gave this a chance *:)*

Sounds great.
I like the twist with the two girls too.

I suppose a world tour to Adelaide is out of the question? *:|* :P

People do tend to fall in love with Eli&Oskar  so I'm glad, but not a bit surprised, that Dahls reports a well-felt production.

Just hope somebody's capturing it for the rest of the world...

The library came through with the S2 Sherlock; I bought the S1 from Tesco for a fiver; all good stuff. There's an S1+2 DVD set, too, currently about £12, grab it if you see it - I very much doubt you'll regret it.

Next thing you know i'll be admitting to purchasing The Killing S1+2 as well...maybe. It was pretty damn good, though, the few episodes I [under pressure] saw...

I thought the library had also sourced the BBC/Alec Guinness TTSS that Dahls bought, but it was the recent [and excellent] Alfredson remake, which I already have - well, it's at my folks' actually, but only because I've seen it three times, and left it there for our Ruth and Lord Percy to watch.

I find I really want to see the BBC's TTSS/Smiley's People...hope they get cheap again soon.
