These are the dangers of text-only communication...

I'm not being snide [or satirical] At All. I thought 'frock guitar' was pretty good...I hope it would make Yohio laugh, anyway.

I actually CAN see Yohio completely wowing them on the Big Bang Theory, with something of the impact of David Bowie in the 70's; and I've provided a few plot seeds/character takes illustrating this. [Penny finding herself mothering him already makes me laugh].

Any show that can make an out gay man [the excellent Jim Parsons/Sheldon Cooper] the comedy king of America, can surely handle the dress/gender issues Yohio represents with sufficient grace; he would basically get to play himself, could explain he isn't gay, play a bit of guitar set to stun, talk cosmology/computers/comics with Sheldon and the boys, clothes/makeup/neuroscience with Penny and the girls...I reckon it could be a very good thing for all concerned.

As to my own homophobia, I don't [can't] pretend it doesn't exist, but it ain't the boss of me, see. So I'm a bit disappointed, here.

Delighted to hear today that, in addition to a feature-length special for Easter, they're making three more new 1 hour eps of Jonathan Creek in the autumn. Awesome. :D *:)*

I gather the church formula for Easter is 'the Sunday closest to the first Full Moon after the Equinox', which I suppose helps explain why it's such a variable feast; anything to dissociate it from all that nasty pagan celebration of natural cycles.

Who cares about the religious procedure!?
What really matters is that the ski slopes are well prepared, and the wine is perfectly temperated for the evening!

And not least the welcoming thought of a vacation! :)

Totally amazing. :T You have to admire the Swedes resilience.
Version 1 is the official Sweden entry for Eurovision 2013. Version 2 is a hardcore metal version of the same song, which sounds somehow sooo much more Fucking Amal' to me . *:)*

Emma Watson's marvellously sarcastic Twitter denial of these rumours that she'd been cast in 50 Shades of Grey.

"Who here actually thinks that I would actually do a movie of 50 Shades of Grey? For real. In real life."

"?"

"Good. Well that's that sorted then."

Silly those Swedes, aren't they, Snaps?

From what I read, Yohio got the most votes in the final, so obviously you would think he'd be the winner, right?
But, no, an "expert" jury panel decided to go against the peoples choice, and give it to the other guy instead.

Doesn't sound right to me... :?

Spent the whole weekend out in the countryside, skiing and ice-fishing. Just lovely! :D
The sun was shining from a cloud free sky all day, my face is red as a lobster now.

I'm very jealous Dahls.
Not only was I sweltering in the unseasonably hot weather, I had to spend Sunday over a hot oven cooking for an eight person dinner party. *:|*

I'd much rather have been lobsterising myself where you were. *:)*

2013-03-28 ‘YOHIO personal appearance – at signing yesterday > Thanks to Vendela Damberg for the heads’up 

BTW Looove the cross-reference to "She was a suoerstar" ‘Whirlwind’ by Broder Daniel. I guess long way before YOHIO’s time, but Henrik Berggren must surely have been an influence at some point?
