Well, there's nothing penultimate about this pic from Lettre.....
(and doesn't PABlaFAB seem happy about it? :D )

I'll have to come up with something completely different tomorrow when despair sets in. :(

Fishy never even remotely said, OR wrote:I'm sorry to be here again, Doctor, but my Acquartisme is playing me up something wicked...can you give me anything for it?

Imaginary Doctor [looking over tops of spectacles] ; Look, mate, I'm just a GP, there's only so much I can help you with. I do have a colleague I could refer you to, very good man, specialises in this, er, sort of thing...? <mutters> Or you could try less protein.

Equally-Imaginary Fish [edging towards the door] ; Er, no, that'll be fine, thanks, I'll just...umm...well...I'll think of something...

Casting improv from the movie DVD...I could wish that the compiler/editor had caught the expression of surprise on Adele's face, but that's just carping, really...yes, lovely work, by all concerned. 8) 8) 8)

Fishy, you just keep on coming up with the goods, man. *:)*

How about crediting the original poster, and maybe telling them about here via a tumblr message...? This is obviously a talented and serious Acquartian/enne...

DMt. once wrote:
Pauline Acquart, fifteen, was brave enough
To put her half-grown body in a film;
And almost everyone who sees it knows,
'This is important'.

As skinny as a child, 'Mrs No-Boobs'
Exercised nonetheless a potent force,
Played the gamine 'Marie' so perfectly
She might have been her.

What was it, in her craft and sullen art?
The terrifying vulnerability?
The woundedness she disdained to conceal?
Was it her courage?

Her awkward shyness is still full of grace;
Her vulnerability is perfect strength...

It's on the dvd extras?
Time for a viewing then, in the next few days. Way overdue anyway.

Max Factor Stage Blood No.2 ...

I see l'Acquart is wearing those rather spiffy black-lightning earrings [is that even the right term for something so un-ring-like?] as well as a crumpled expression of humorous distaste 8)

You can leave anonymous messages in a tumblr thread, though not direct links. I did this a few times on sweetgirl's Acquart thread [of fond memory :( ]

Halfway to the 29th k already...

[PS the {perhaps somewhat parochial} reference to "cont. p.94" is a jokey convention from the satirical British mag Private Eye ...]

It's amazing the number of people who make "showreels" of the w*rk they've done. (Bless 'em. *:)* )

Seems like a new venture but I haven't been able to find out anything else yet. *:|*

Whew! I thought for one dreadful moment there was no new post de Poisson today! *:|* - serves me right for getting up early...

*

I would have thought it rather difficult to stage beach scenes; but perhaps that was the challenge.

I also think it a smart move by artmedia to get l'Acquart into as much theatre as possible - in fact, as many different [good-quality] projects as possible, but especially theatre, because that's the root of it all.

Just you wait - Acquart is working on her skills, mastering her craft, and when the right film lead appears [and may it be soon!] everyone's going to get their socks blown off; I dare say even more than by NdP's Marie.

You dared to say it. :P

I still haven't had the time to do any research on the Christophe Botti thing so I don't have a clue what it's about, other than that there was a production early in 2012 also, but it was sans l'Aquart. Seems like she's only been cast in this new version.
Wise move I'd have thought. 8)
