Thank you. I downloaded it and I think subtitles will be available next weekend; now I don't have enough time. Making subtitles demands patience and even for Au 7e jour I worked for like 5 hours (with translation and all).

If you have any question relative to understanding my subtitles, I will be happy to respond.

Your subtitles not working directly when I translate to Catalan . I think that is for my language area where I am . I translate to my language area and I've already solved. *:)*

Sorry, I don't understand what you are trying to say. How can they not work? If you copy/paste the parts in the translator they will be translated. Or are you telling me that you had a problem that you solved?
For subtitles to work the important thing is to respect the numerotation and the times set.

Hello Owen. :W
Great to have you with us.
I was away yesterday splashing around in the sea with a couple of kids, so I missed your arrival. *:)*

Owen wrote:... I didn't know of another short film of Acquart available on the Internet.

"Coconut Grove" is on Vimeo if you haven't caught that one yet. https://vimeo.com/38620761
It's one of a few (including Dutch Room) that Pauline made for the clothing company Indress.

Santi wrote:This is in Germany?

No. This section of the film was made in Vienna (Austria).

I still haven't been able to find any information on the filming of the final scenes in Los Angeles, though I do know Pauline expected to be in Paris last Friday (9th Jan) becdause she said she would be going to a gig at "Le Zèbre dans le Patio" on that night. https://www.facebook.com/events/368139133356894/?ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular
I guess there's a possibility they haven't started filming in LA yet. Either that or they finished it in a couple of days. :?
She's a complete puzzle to me.
Still, that's what makes this all such fun. *:)*

Hey Fish, I've been looking around and found Ms. Ho Leng on Instagram, who seemed to be taking the professional photos for the film. It looks like she's been in New York for a while and will still be there this week. The actress that is in the car with Pauline in the photos you posted added me on Facebook and Ive been seeing that she is also not in LA right now. It looks like only Edgar the Director is in LA, so i am assuming they are not shooting yet. I would think he would need both Pauline and the other actress at the same time. He is probably just doing location scouts.

I'll keep looking around and hopefully they will be shooting soon :)

Fantastic Tullah.

I thought Ho Leng was in New York and may be involved in taking stills when they started shooting, but I wasn't sure.
I also thought perhaps there might be a new photographer involved.
The other professional photographer, who mainly did the Rome scenes, Serene Millicent, seems to have returned home to Taiwan.

I haven't noticed any travel plans mentioned by Ho Leng yet but I'm keeping my eyes peeled, just in case.

Nobody else involved is saying anything. Puzzling. :?

A quizzical stare from L'Acquart G et M, there; her natural expressiveness having no doubt been honed to a sharp edge by all that theatre work.

I'm sure Edgar H knows just what a treasure he has, and it's about time la Reine Jeune had a major lead again!

Owen, your English subs for A7J are excellent. I can't watch it very often but they really helped my appreciation of this very worthy [if terribly sad] short film; Acquart's second major project, at about 17, I think. Already, a scant two years later, she is so different from the gamine Marie, she is a young woman.

But! In the meeting on the steps, Pauline and the other girl's banter and singing - I always thought there was something highly risqué in that other girl's version of 'Laissez tomber les filles'...un jour c'est ta con rentera, was it? It cracks Pauline up, anyway

I haven't had a chance to watch it again yet.
Not much time for anything really with a house full of people.
Wish they'd all go home. :P

Lydia enters the gallery hoping that this time the cameras will be ready to roll. *:|* :P
