Browsing through some old copies of "Vice" magazine, as you do, and I came across this little article about Larry Clark's 2014 film "The Smell of Us".
Part of the article concerns Lukas Ionesco who played one of the main characters.
By way of illustration they used the pic of him on the bed with Pauline.
Now, I've seen "The Smell of Us" a couple of times, it's been on TV in Australia, and while it had many of Pauline's real life friends in it, I don't recall seeing her.
Nor is she in any of the credits.

Maybe it was just a random pic they used in the article but my French is so poor, and Gurgle Translate operates at about my level, that I haven't been able to understand what in the hell they're talking about.

Is there a French speaker here who can either translate the article, or at least let us know why they used the Pauline pic.

Or was it another of those distinctly iffy usages of l'Acquart G's name, image and general cachet to promote a movie in which she has little or no part...?

Well, I can do it, but not right now, I don't have time for a thorough translation (and a million things to do!).
It is an interview with the screenwriter about what kind of people Clark wants in his movie. It reveals some things about the background of Lukas and Diane.

I agree with DMt.'s theory. She was available and her friends did a shoot with her as an extra. But why do it, I don't know.
