Well, I worked all afternoon to do that application. Sent it, and then got an email 5 minutes later telling me they had made a mistake with the dates and I actually had till Wednesday to do it.

It's one of those weeks, I can tell.

I should have been somewhere at around 6:00 tonight but I've been stuck here trying to get this bloody PC to w*rk properly.
I think I'll just pull the plug on it and go.

I guess I should be pleased but I'm annoyed it's taken so long, plus we don't get the other two in the trilogy on general release until September and November this year. Meaning it will be sold on the shelves at top price. The books have been in the top ten bestsellers list for nearly a year now, sometimes all three occupying places in the top five. I suspect this marketeering ploy has more than a little to do with the selling of film rights to the USA for its paltry remakes. To date over 20 million copies of the books have been sold throughout forty countries. Not that Stieg Larsson's partner will get a single penny (or is that ore?). It's so annoying to think that to protect her from the death threats he was subject to, they never formally married. Stupid Swedish law allows online accessibility of addresses and details. The ease with which I was able to trace Rebecka's address at Bagarmossen and Alex's current address in Södermalm, shows how absurd this situation is. The same stupid Swedish law in which non-married partners are not recognised as legal spouses (no matter how long established) deprived her of any part of Stieg's estate. Stooopid dumb as a truck law

You don't need a credit card, snaps (I haven't one got one either). You just need a Paypal account - which is very easy and costs nothing to set up. I only got one about 2 years ago - I couldn't live without it now!

I use a debit card (similar to a credit card but the money comes straight out of an account), but I do need to have money in that account. (Durhh )
