What annoys me?

That a jerk blew himself up in central Stockholm yesterday. Luckily no one else was killed, but it could have been an absolute disaster. And in a street that I walk by every day. What is the world coming to? First an anti-immigration party in our pariament, and now this. What would Agnes and Elin have said?

Quite a few years ago now a letter bomb was sent to a Federal Policeman in the Adelaide CBD. It was his birthday so he opened the parcel, and died. I remember walking down Waymouth Street through all the broken glass. It seems to have been criminal rather than terrorist but nobody has ever been charged, so who really knows.

It's a sad world when this sort of thing goes on but I hope Stockholm can recover its smile.

I have the ''flu'' It's official Woke up yesterday with the Hangover from Hell, till I realized I hadn't had anything to drink the night before. Aching limbs, light-headed, thumping headache and felt like I'd just chain smoked my way though a five pack of Pall Mall. Last night alternated between waking up drenched in sweat and waking up shivering with cold. Been to the doctor today. Nothing so exotic as ''swine flu'' or ''bird flu'' .. just ''common'' flu. Moi! Common? I don't do common Basically there is nothing to do except take co-codamol (which turns my stomach inside out) and ibuprofen (which also turns my stomach inside out) oh ... and ''be responsible and avoid elderly people and children for the next ten days'' ... Mmmm OK so I guess Christmas is cancelled then? I'll just lock myself into the toilet until it's all over.

Been worried 'bout poor Snapsie. I thought a good roll around with Gro Hammerseng would take her mind off the aches and pains of the flu, but it appears not to have worked.

Been concerned 'bout the time travel factor. Didn't we have last Christmas about six weeks ago?

Been appalled 'bout the thought of driving 200kms for lunch tomorrow, then driving home again afterwards.

just checkin in not on for long as puter is at wrong angle and my nose is streaming snot. I've had flu before but never like this sumbitch. At least its not just me, there seems to be a mini-epidemic in the county. Of course the ''authorities'' are trying to hush-up cos theyre ill-prepared. Epicentre is Queniborough, (the same hotspot that produced CJD, mad cow disease) , over 25% of under 12s already have it and it will spread to the others between now and new year. We haven't been inundated with snow yet (although thats on the way). Went out for a while but had to come back in too cold -3 daytime temperature is not good and overnite low of -9 projected for Monday evening. biatch!
