Rachael was excellent in "Tipping The Velvet".
Wonder if she'll reprise "Nan" for D.W.

That'd be a whole new direction for the Doctor. :P

Just had my third viewing of the norwegian drama/comedy tv-show "Dag".
A seriously brilliant show, the only tv production from Norway that truly has quality of international standards!

It`s about the couples counselor Dag (Atle Antonsen), who convinces all his patients to separate and live alone. He himself live alone by choice, because he dislikes most people, and even his few close friends and family never gets to set foot in his appartment. But then Eva (Tuva Novotny) enters his life, and it gets harder to keep the closed lifestyle.

With overall excellent script and acting, wonderfull use of music, and a pinching dark tone, it is to date my favorit tv-show!
Such a big variety of interesting and tragic characters, both in small and major roles. And the gorgeous and very talented swedish actress
Tuva Novotny :)P

Since they have a habit of "importing" alot of swedish actors/actresses, and it`s such a quality show, I sort of had a dream that Bex or Alex would take a part in next season. :D
A bit of a reach though! :T

Anyway, a big recommendation for this series :)

Sounds pretty good Dahls.
Is it a mini series of a few episodes or one of those series that seems to go on forever?

What a great "sort of" dream. Hope it comes true. *:)* *:)*

Not completely unreasonable, at least in Alex's case.

Somewhere in the middle perhaps :P
It certainly don`t go on forever, but I would`nt call it a mini series eighter. It has 10 24min long episodes pr season, and is atm filming the third. It is definetly quality before quantity.

Just did a quick search on Ebay for any DVD release.
The closest I came to "Dag" was for someone wanting to sell me their "dog".
I like the sound of this show. *:)*

I have a tendency to purchase tons of stuff I don`t really need on ebay, but a dog would be a bit much

Sorry to say, I doesn`t seem to exist with english subtitles. :( I only found a fanmade subtitle for just the first episode on youtube.
All this build up for nothing :T (angry e-mail to the distributors is mailed   )

They seem to have full episodes on YT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCgO7TlfSbc&feature=related

And they're speaking Norwegian right?
And there are Norwegian subtitles right? :T

I guess at some stage someone might post it with English subs as it seems unlikely there'll ever be a dvd.

Though I hope my new dog's nice. :P
