I gave mine to my sister Ruth...she was like, "Why did you give us this, when you think it's crap?", and I said, "So you could have fun ripping it to bits". :P

Mine are grown and mostly flown, I envy you; I so miss having little ones around.

My boy Ben, at about 18 months, fell asleep on my shoulders one night, when we were on the music PC...I didn't realise what had happened at first, he seemed to get strangely heavy, but he was so perfectly balanced on my neck and back that he didn't fall off...snf snf

The classic white blues 'Sugar Baby' given a right-up-to-date treatment by two girls [women] calling themselves banjoape. They've got the beat and the slippery 2/4 phrasing down pat, it's really something, despite the slightly iffy recording;

I so wish we could do Youtube embedding here... *:|*

OMFG! :D

I TOLD you it would happen HERE first. Did I not? 8) Oh Ye of little faith. :T

YOHIO is at number 3 pole position in the long list for Sweden's Melodifestivalen. This is the forerunner to deciding Sweden's entry for the fucking Eurovision Song Contest! In 2012, Sweden won and ESC will be in Sweden next year.

SWEDEN WON last years Eurovision Song Contest!

Get on board. :D YOHIO is THE Fucking Amal of 2012! OK I know its popsicle pop, but what is not to like? *:)* :D

Yes, Eurovision, the tacky, glam, flashing epileptic celebration of mediocrity, where much of the nations give their votes to neighbour countries for political reasons

Sorry, I really don't mean to be a dick and rain on you're parade, Snaps, but if one of my favorit artist was to encounter this competition, I'd be rather annoyed. *:|*

But then again, on the upside, YOHIO definitely has the potential to be Swedens contribution, and get a good result, which could mean really catapulting his career.
Abba got much of their success from ESC f.eks, and they sold like 400 million albums.

I appreciate your general point, Dahls. Eurovision ain't exactly the equivalent of the Nobel Prize for Popular Music. *:|*

At this career juncture, Ima sure YOHIO has had to swallow a lot of pride. He isn't a talentless pretty-boy plucked out of the masses two weeks ago because he looks the part. Respect where it is due. He has been playing and composing since he was 8 years old, his first recorded music (playing piano) at 10 years old . He has been professionaly playing guitar and composing since the age of 11. He has taught himself Japanese since the age of 8, and has released his first mini-album in Japanese this year. He has also been main composer with Seremedy and played lead guitar on their debut EP and full length album. He has just released his first English-language single and PV ''Our Story'' and his first full-length solo album is due for release in January next year. He is only just 17 years old. Ima sure he has to grit his teeth at the prospect of Eurovision. Even within a ''so-called'' liberal nation like Sweden he has had to tolerate homophobic crap since he first wore make-up to school when he was 13. Idk how it will work out in the public ratings, nor does he.

If the spirit of FA still exists within Sweden, then the viewers will vote on the basis of his perceived talent, and not on ill-informed prejucices about his sexuality, which for the record he defines as ''NOT gay''.

Funnily enough I hold those same sentiments.
But, ESC is a reality.
It's worth the big bucks.
And if you're in it you might as well try to win it. *:)*

Loved the vid. Also enjoyed the comments.
Like these two from Letícia.

"It's just me, or that girl looks like a guy with a lot of make-up??..."
Letícia Guedes 4 days ago
"And by Girl, I don't mean Yohio, I know he's a boy. I mean the girl who's with him in this video."

Nice to know there's lots of confused people out there. :P
