Wasn't the greatest, but I did enjoy the return of "Soufflé Girl" from "The Assylum" episode.
She's cute. *:)*

Going to start Misfits tonight, so I hope I like it.

Wish me luck, I'm going in...

Saw the first 2 eps of Misfits last night. Interesting so far. Thought the first episode was excellent - razor sharp, scary at times (the homicidally insane social worker was straight out of 24 Days Laterr) and hysterically funny dialogue. Ep 2 wasn't quite as good but still reasonable. Entertained so far. :D

Finished Misfits season 1. Very enjoyable on the whole. Final episode was a hoot, the whole Bodysnatchers vibe with this buttoned down prudish type brainwashing everyone into becoming repressed good little boys and girls. Shades of the Jasmine arc from Angel season 4 too with her use of TV to spread her influence wider. Good stuff. Looking forward to watching season 2 now! :D

Finished season 2 of Misfits. Great stuff. Love the no doubt deeply blasphemous Xmas special. "Ï'm going to kill Jesus!"

Disappointed to see Nathan isn't in season 3, though. Boo! He's the funniest one in it! :(

Misfits season 3. A definite comedown from the first two, with Nathan's anarchic presence much missed. Still, worth watching at least for the final episode and the culmination of Simon and Alisha's story; their odd but affecting love story was the highlight of the season by far and kudos to the writers and actors for pulling off something so powerful in the midst of such a generally silly show. Season 4 seems a pretty pointless endeavor with most of the original cast now gone, though...

Startd 24 season 1 again. Gripping stuff, even though the first season seems so lowkey in a way in comparison to some of the gloriously OTT and jawdropping stuff that would go on in later seasons!

Fringe season 1. Given that Joshua Jackson - the male lead in Fringe - shot to fame as Pacey in Dawson's Creek, I was most amused to see Mary Beth Peil, who played Michelle Williams' character's grandmother in DC, pop up in an episode and even get a scene with him. Surreal. I was half expecting him to go "Hello, Grams". :P

Started The X Files season 1 again. 20 years since it first aired in Australia, Jesus! The pilot is still excellent, and chock a block with iconic images and moments. :D
