So you say that Australia should also be called Atlantis?

It's interesting, but is it a review or a complete retelling of the movie?

I have finally seen
Le chant des sirènes, after 2 months of postponing. Good short film, good work by the actors (and the main actor's wig

) and the story is interesting. I liked the ambiguity of the father, he appears to be a real asshole and hypocrite but at the same time, because the narration is from his point of view, he can be understood and empathised with (to some extent, at least). Even assholes have regrets. Thus, he appears to be a person that fought against his perverted nature and at one point stopped caring about what he becomes. He surrendered.
Acquart appears to be much older than 15 years (that her character is supposed to be) though, which makes certain dialogues less believable (but not as much as the wig

does), e.g. that her character doesn't know what Chernobyl is. But other than that, it's Acquart-ful (so rare) time and she's good.
