Now, when can we see Mammoth and Manana on his site?

Not for a while, since Manana isn't even out at the cinema 'til May! :P

Saw the final eps of season 2 of Veronica Mars last night. Good, but not as good as the season 1 finale.

Also watched Robin of Sherwood: Time of the Wolf Part 1. Very good. I still think that the thing that separated ROS from other Robin Hood adaptations (the supernatural and black magic elements) is precisely what made it appeal to me as a kid!

Which one, Kyle?

Started Veronica Mars season 3 last night. Still good so far. Amusing to see Ed Begley Jnr as the Dean of Veronica's new university.

Not subtitled, I take it?

Very much enjoying Veronica Mars season 3 so far. The campus serial rapist arc is quite chilling.

"ATONEMENT" I didn't think i would enjoy it and at over 2 hours I thought OMG I won't last the course, but it was very involving. took some attention to keep pace with all the flash-forwards and flashbacks, but overall a very rewarding cinematic experience. Superb acting, Keira Knightley to die for, scriptwriting, cinematography, unintrusive but poignant music score. Deffo one I would want to watch again (and again some).

Only 3 eps left to go of Veronica Mars. Season 3 has been a bit odd, with seasons 1 and 2 there was one overarching mystery across the whole season, while 3 has had a couple of arcs and been a bit choppy as a result. And now, sadly, there doesn't seem to be anything particularly interesting going on at all, giving the impression the series is limping to it's end rather than going out in a confident blaze of glory. Pity, as even this season had it's moments (the climax to the serial rapist story was terrifying).

Watched NABOER (Next Door), 2005, a couple of times now. Norwegian, English subtitles. Very tight suspense. Manically twisted plot that makes more sense on second viewing. Plenty of gallows humor too. Much more likely to give nitemares than some corny horror movie.

So, how are your neighbours? Go call on them, but don't go alone mwuhhhuhhuh! Come and see me instead. I'll make you a lovely cup of tea, or even better get you a glass of wine
