PS Having just re-read Little Star, I have to agree with you that Yohio should totally play Theres in the movie.

It'll be a brave girl that plays Teresa though, eh? As brave as Louise B was to play Anne in NdP...

Thanks Dave.

I do so totally agree.

SEIKE the lead singer in Seremedy, is a very troubled soul. He has been brave enough to post very unflattering pictures of himself on-line as an 11-year old rather fey, ''fatboy'' when he was subject to serial bullying. I think, in spirit, he is the model for Teresa, if not the actual person to portray the character. :)

It'll take somebody with that kind of guts, certainly. :Y

I guess we just have to trust that our sufferings are in fact meaningful, quite as meaningful as our joys, in becoming who we came here to be.

That's my position nowadays, anyway; I just refuse to see it all as randomness and happenstance, that's so crap, so impoverished.

A pre-book 6 2005 interview with Daniel Radcliffe saying that he wants Harry to end up with either Hermione or Luna as "I don't really like Ginny".

Harry ended up with Ginny. In one of two truly horrible non-romantic relationships that lost Rowling a lot of fans. *:|* :(
There were a great many fans who invested quite heavily in the (extremely well written) best-friends relationship between Harry and Hermione, and wanted - nay, expected - that they would end up together. Even many of the directors, producers and the screenwriter of the films were pulling for them (not hurt, either, by the obvious onscreen chemistry between Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson). :(
It didn't help matters that Ginny had approximately zero character development in the books (and is, indeed, barely present for the first five) or that many of the key characters seemingly underwent personality transplants in the last two books either in order to warp them into JK's rather disturbing idea of "romance" (don't even get many fans started on Hermione ending up with Ron. Who, particularly in the books, seems to delight in treating her like crap throughout the series). There were - and remain - an awful lot of disappointed, if not royally pissed off, fans. :(

Ohhhh...kaaaaaayyyyyy...

Read one of them once, long ago, never really felt the pull, myself; but it does sound like a right royal umm, well, y'know.

Still, JKR should worry - she's a squillionaire already!

Read today in our local paper that they are putting up a theater play on 'Let the right one in', not too far from where I live. :)
Opens in a few weeks, would love to catch that, but since none of my friends are in to that sort of thing, I probably have to go by myself.
So still under consideration I supose.
